The Cheyenne Frontier Days Old West Museum is located in Cheyenne, Wyoming, United States. The museum was founded in 1978. It is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization dedicated to interpreting, preserving and exhibiting the history and material culture of Cheyenne, Cheyenne Frontier Days, Wyoming State and West America. The museum features Cheyenne Frontier Day Hall of Fame. Permanent exhibits include Western-drawn carriages and wagons, history and memorabilia of the Cheyenne Frontier Day rodeo, local Cheyenne history, pioneer artifacts and clothing, and Western folk art.

Clayton Danks, winner of three CFD competitions before 1910, is a cowboy model on the Steamboat horses on the Wyoming trademark, Bucking Horse and Rider. The saddle that Dank won in the CFD competition in 1907 was donated by members of his surviving family to the museum in September 2013.

Shirley E. Flynn, museum director from 1987 to 1991, wrote the history of Border Day celebrations in her 1996 book. Let Show! Come on Rodeo! The history of Cheyenne Border Day .
