Security Lumensi, Inc . now a part of IT software company, Ivanti. Lumension products include endpoint management and security software that provides endpoint protection, vulnerability management, data protection, application white list, encryption, USB security, and risk management. Lumensi is mostly focused on providing IT security for organizations and businesses.
In 2017 Lumension is part of the merger of LANDESK and HEAT Software to create an entirely new IT Software company called Ivanti. Currently, Lumension products are an important part of Ivanti's security software.

Lumension (now part of Ivanti) was founded as High Tech Software in 1991, the company was renamed PatchLink Corporation in 1999 and later adopted the Lumension name in 2007. In 2015 Frontrange and Lumension were combined to create the HEAT Software. Then in 2017, HEAT and LANDESK are combined to create Ivanti.
Traditional Lumension products compete in endpoint management and security industry against Sophos, McAfee, Kaspersky Lab, Symantec and Trend Micro among others.
