Xanadu 2.0 is Bill Gates' big house overlooking Lake Washington in Medina, Washington. The 66,000-square-foot house (6,100 m 2 ) is famous for its design and technology. It's dubbed Xanadu 2.0 after the character's title property in Citizen Kane .
In 2009, property taxes were reported at US $ 1,063 million with a total value of US $ 147.5 million.
Zillow estimates that the house is worth $ 178,348,725 on April 9, 2018.

Design and features
The house was designed collaboratively by Bohlin Cywinski Jackson and Cutler-Anderson Architects from Bainbridge Island, Washington.
The house is a modern design in a Pacific lodge style, with classic features such as a private library with a dome-shaped roof and an oculus. The house also features an extensive server system, 60-foot (18 m) swimming pool with underwater music system, a 2,500 square foot gym (230 m 2 ), 1,000 square-foot dining rooms (93 m 2 ), and heated floors and driveways. It is also a sheltering house on earth.
