Gameplay

Minecraft: Story Mode is an episodic interactive action-and-click animated action video game. It was released as a number of episodes similar to other Telltale Games games. Players can collect items, solve puzzles, and talk to non-player characters through a conversation tree to learn about the story and determine what to do next. A player's decision affects the event in the current episode and the next episode. However, Minecraft: Story Mode is meant to be a family friendly title, unlike previous Telltale games, which tend to bring a more mature or emotional feel (including the death of the main character). Thus, the decision is meant to be very important and emotional but not to involve a mature image or theme. The crafting and building elements are included in the gameplay which is the center of Minecraft . The game includes combat and other action sequences, which are performed through quick time events and more controls such as arcades, such as circling the debris on the road.

Order of Stone (Episode 1)

Jesse (Patton Oswalt or Catherine Taber) and his friends Olivia (Martha Plimpton) and Axel (Brian Posehn), along with his Reuben (Ree Bradley Baker) pet pig, went to the EnderCon building competition, which they lost each year to rival teams called Ocelots. Nonetheless, they manage to build an impressive tool, which the members of Aiden Ocelot (Matthew Mercer) jealous of sabotage, scaring Reuben. Jesse and the gang leave after Ruben or Axel and Olivia keep the building. Jesse goes to look for Reuben, interacting with things around him too, when Reuben is found, Jesse and Reuben surrounded by enemy hordes, Jesse has the choice to tell Reuben to run or stay next to him, Jesse (and Reuben) (is/are) ) were rescued from the masses by their friend Petra (Ashley Johnson), who convinced Jesse to help him with a business deal: sells the skull Wither for diamonds.

Back in the competition, that Jesse's team won/lost, the deal worsened when Ivor (Paul Reubens), Petra's man sold the skull, ripped it off and ran away. Jesse and Petra, joining Axel, Olivia and the sympathetic Ocelot leader, Luke (Scott Porter), follow Ivor to the underground lab. There, they discover he made Wither, a very dangerous creature, but could not stop him. The creature attacked the event and targeted Gabriel (Dave Fennoy), a member of the legendary Order of the Stone, who seems to know by Ivor. Ivor lost control of Wither, who, with the special command block power implanted in Wither's chest, turned into a more sophisticated and more dreadful version, called 'The Wither Storm'. Then destroyed the city, forcing the group to flee into Gabriel's fortress, where Gabriel sent Jesse's group to find members of the Order of Magnus (Corey Feldman) and Ellegaard (Gray Griffin), and gave them a talisman to guide them. They are headed for a dangerous Nether, leaving Petra and Gabriel behind in the process (because one of them is sucked into Wither Storm, depending on your choice).

In the Nether, Jesse's group found the train track left by the Order, and went to the World, where the group decided to sleep at night. Axel was bitter about Luke, and Jesse had to choose who they would choose. The next morning, the group arrived at the Castle of the Order, where they discovered that Ivor had actually become a member of the Order, but had been kicked out. They then found a tool which, when associated with the amulet, shows on the map the current location of the members of the Order. Luke decided to stay and fortify the fort, and asked that one of the four men stay with him. The player then has a choice: to go with Axel to get Magnus, or with Olivia to get Ellegaard. As Jesse and Axel/Olivia prepare to leave, Storm Wither approaches.

Assembly Required (Episode 2)

Jesse and Axel/Olivia go to Boom Town/Redstonia to recruit Magnus/Ellegaard to help them. After getting Magnus/Ellegaard to join them (with various accidents), they return to the temple to discover that Olivia/Axel (whoever does not accompany Jesse) then picks up Ellegaard/Magnus (whatever Jesse does not personally find) , and now reunited with Petra or Gabriel (depending on who Jesse saved before entering the Nether). Back to the machine, they discover that it now shows the last location, long lost member, Soren (John Hodgeman), and Ivor, who is heading towards him. Ellegaard reveals that he and Soren have built a "Formidi Bomb", and propose this as a solution to the problem of Wither Storm. The group went to look for Soren and his secret laboratory. There, Jesse, Luke and Reuben find a large herd of endermen. Magnus and Ellegaard (who obviously do not get along) depart in two different directions to find "F-Bomb". Jesse and Petra/Gabriel followed one of them, while Luke, Olivia, and Axel followed the others. As they walk, Petra/Gabriel reveals to Jesse that, even though he rescued her, they have a "forgetful disease", which is getting worse by the minute. Finally, they face Ivor, but he mocks them and uses the potion to slow them down, saying that the Order will not be able to do anything to stop it, then run away.

The Last Place You See (Episode 3)

The group is trapped (an Ivor act in the previous episode). They managed to escape, but ended up at the End of a premonition. There, they see Soren and follow him to his big house, where Jesse finds him studying the dangerous Endermen. Jesse convinces Soren to help destroy Storm Wither using a very powerful Formidi Bomb, like the Wither Storm attack. They returned to the surface, where they reunited with Magnus and Ellegaard. Soren asked a volunteer to light the Formidi Bomb, reminding them that the bomb would explode a few seconds after it was made. This task fell on Jesse's shoulder. Receiving either Magnus or Ellegaard armor, Jesse built and used Formidi-Bomb, and survived, but Magnus/Ellegaard (whoever gave Jesse armor) was killed by an attack from Wither Storm. The Formidi-Bomb destroys Storm Wither, freeing the people he eats, including Gabriel or Petra who is now amnesia. Unfortunately, since the bomb that did not reach the Commando Block kept him alive, the Stormy Storm's reform, had been split to make three Wither Storms, forcing everyone to flee.

Block and Difficult Spot (Episode 4)

The group was forced to flee from a new storm. They then meet Ivor, who wants to correct his mistake and offer a solution: using his spell book at his home in Lands Away that can dazzle a weapon so powerful that it can destroy the command block. The group (probably without Axel, Luke and the sick members) go to Ivor's house, where they learn that the story of Ender Dragon's battle that made the famous Order not true: Soren uses only the Command Block to disrupt the Dragon Ender no. Ivor leaves the Order in disgust and calls Wither Storm to show the world that the Order is a fraud.

Despite this shocking truth, Jesse built a weapon that, with the unwitting aid of Endermen, they used to enter Wither Storm and destroy the Command Block, even though Ruben was badly injured in the process and died shortly thereafter. When the world praises the new heroes, Jesse makes a warning to Reuben and assures Gabriel, who is now healed (similar to Petra), either telling the truth about the Order's past or keeping it a secret. Either way, Jesse and their friends then made the famous New Order Stone.

Message! (Episode 5)

Some time later, the New Order went, with a tip from Ivor, to a temple where they found a mysterious magic flint and steel. Outside the temple, they were greeted by Aiden, who captured Luke as the new leader of Ocelot (now passing the "Blaze Rods") and bitter against the fame the New Order had achieved, even though they managed to chase him and his goose. Back in town, the group showed their loot found for Ivor, who revealed the flint and armored steel became the key to Eversource, the source of infinite building power. Back to the temple, Jesse, Petra, Luke, and Ivor find portals, which Jesse activates with rock and steel. Unfortunately, Blaze Rods surprise them and enter the portal first.

Pursuing them, the group ended up in the dimensions of the sky, where they had to build a bridge with the ground. They come to Sky City, a metropolitan island in the cloud, where the building is strictly regulated by the harsh city co-founder. Unfortunately for the group, Aiden met the Founder first and tricked him into turning the whole city against the Order. Although Ivor and Luke were arrested, Petra was rescued by Milo, a barman and an underground resistance leader called Build Club (Jesse's decision to choose who he went with). They quickly reunite, and soon discover Eversource, uncovered into chickens laying eggs.

The group is then attacked by the Founder and Aiden, only to betray him and drop him, Jesse and perhaps Luke to the side. They land safely on the ground below, which surprises the Founder, because he thinks there is nothing but a cliff. He and Jesse (Luke will sit this, feeling weak from Aiden's battle at the palace) build towers back to Sky City, which are now flooded with Aiden monsters called from egg-laying eggs laid by Eversource chickens. Although Jesse defeated Aiden and his cronies, the city was lost and the remaining townspeople entered the waterfall and flowed safely to the ground below. After deciding what to do with Aiden and Eversource and how the new government should be run, Jesse and the group used the portals that they and the Founders found when building towers to return home, only to find themselves in corridors full of portals.

Portal for Mystery (Episode 6)

Upon entering one of the portals, Jesse, Lukas, Petra and Ivor end up in a world very similar to their own, except for two months, and everything looks swampy. After reading the invitations and escaping from the huge hordes of zombies, they end up at another invitation mansion, which eventually becomes the five famous Minecraft YouTuber: CaptainSparklez, StampyCat, DanTDM, LDShadowLady and StacyPlays, as well as two other fiction one: TorqueDawg and Cassie Rose. They are revealed to be unaware of this place as the New Order, because portraits of YouTube and Order users have somehow appeared at home. When meeting Sparklez and TorqueDawg, all the lights are off and TorqueDawg is mysteriously killed by a trap with a poisoned arrow.

Through a series of investigations, causing the death trap of CaptainSparklez, right after his announcement of the fact that the killer (who calls himself 'White Pumpkin') kills them because of the flint and armor (like Jesse's, and Lizzie/Dan's death, YouTube shows evidence in Luke, but Petra and Jesse strongly disagree, both, along with Stampy, (who later reveals that he has flint and armor), proves that Cassie Rose is a White Pumpkin, who then inadvertently mistakes a trap of his own and dead Jesse, Petra, Ivor, and Luke peacefully departed with the remaining YouTube users. The New Order walked into an unlit portal portal, and tried to use rock and steel on it, and opened another portal back home they.

Although rock and steel have the power to send them back into their world, it is revealed that the portal is a trap from Rose, who is not dead. While he threatens them with Endermites, Jesse is able to defeat him with his sword and his Ender collection of pearls and leave it to be eaten by Endermites, while Jesse and his friends return through real portals, though it is unknown whether they go home or not.

Access Denied (Episode 7)

Back in the portal passage, Petra, bitter against Jesse for heading everywhere in various worlds and portals, escaped to the redstone portal, concluding that redstone meant "smart people". Jesse, Lukas and Ivor, had no choice, followed him to the portal.

Upon arrival, they were taken hostage by a population of players controlled by redstone chips by PAMA's artificial intelligence management screen, created by Harper's Redstone users but, against the will of Harper, controlled the population in order to "make them useful". Wanting to invade Jesse and the world, PAMA questioned him and took over Petra and Luke, allowing him to see what they knew. Jesse and Ivor escaped from PAMA with the help of Harper, who showed them his laboratory, where he revealed that he was an "old builder". They were immediately attacked by PAMA-controlled monsters, along with thoughts controlled by Luke and Petra. Through luck, Jesse manages to destroy the redstone chip controlling some spiders, and either Luke or Petra.

Harper is captured by whoever Jesse is not free with PAMA's orders, and Harper tells Jesse to find a 'headset'. Finally, after completing Harper's puzzle, Jesse finds a headset, and wears it. This allows Jesse to control and migrate to the PAMA-controlled masses, all while in the laboratory. Eventually finding Harper captured by PAMA, Jesse was able to free him, only for him to be recaptured, but knew from him that PAMA's internal redstone heart should be destroyed. The group heads into town and uses one of Ivor's potions, Jesse is able to get into PAMA but engage in a fight with Luke or Petra before destroying PAMA's heart. After city dwellers were freed from PAMA ownership, they discovered that Harper had created PAMA, and immediately hated it. Harper accompanies the group to the portal passage, where he opens the stairs with a redstone heart that leads to a living 'Builders' place, which may help them find their way back through the "Atlas Portal".

A Journey's End? (Episode 8)

Arriving in the Old Builder village, five people unintentionally stopped the "spleef" game organized by Old Builders; Hadrian, Mevia and Otto. Luke and Ivor or Petra (whoever Jesse did not choose to help) seemed to be killed, but respawn was sent to the Nether mine, where another loser from the Old Builder game was sent. Jesse strikes a deal with Hadrian: if Jesse wins the match, they get Atlas Portal and go home. In the village, Harper explains to Jesse that Hadrian and Mevia are starting to force players from other worlds to play the game - they will only be free if they win the game, which is almost rigged.

After releasing Luke and his other colleagues from the mine, Jesse managed to finish the second game, though Hadrian sent a green team to get rid of Jesse. Ivor/Petra (whoever rescued Jesse) was killed, but quickly respawn. Harper convinces the sympathetic Old Builder Otto to help Jesse. Hadrian reveals to Jesse that he held off Olivia and Axel by using Atlas, and makes another deal: If Jesse loses the game, Olivia, Axel, Petra, Luke, Ivor and Reuben (Hadrian confused the latter with EnderCon Usher) can go free while Jesse remain imprisoned. Otherwise, everyone remains imprisoned.

The next day, on the third task, Jesse finally convinces the other team to work together and rebel against Hadrian and Mevia by all the winners. Otto accepts this victory, but Hadrian and Mevia entrap him and most of the players are in the obsidian, and kill Jesse. He respawn in the respawn area, where Emily, the green team leader, Olivia, Axel, Petra, Lukas, Harper, and Ivor had stolen items for Jesse, including the "Tim" armor, (a character created by Hadrian to inspire others to continue playing), to defeat the Old Builders. The plan was successful, and they finally accepted Atlas from Otto. Back in the alley of Portal, Otto plans to work to make the game fun again. Harper and Emily will return home, stay in the game, or go with the Order (Jesse's suggestion), and Order of the Stone back home. There, after Jesse shows Axel and Olivia their new artifact, Ivor takes a flint and armor of steel and Atlas, where Jesse and the others go afterwards.

Hero in Residence Hero_in_Residence_ (Episode 1)

Luke tells a novel about Jesse and the adventures of their friends as well as their popularity. When he finished, Jesse, Axel, and Olivia provided feedback for this novel. Together with Radar, Jesse's new assistant, they leave the Order's palace to prepare for the Day of Establishment celebrations around the world. Radar stays with Jesse to help with the various tasks at Beacontown, while others go to their respective towns. After that, Jesse heads to the mine to meet Petra, who has been sent to find a mysterious creature by Stella, the competing city leader, "Champion City", who has a golden sword of Petra.

At the mine, Jesse and Petra fight zombies, then race through the mine to find the creature, which turns out to be a llama "treasure" named Lluna. They captured the llama, and also found a strange challenge over the pyramid that whispered Jesse's name. As Jesse grabs it, the clipping of the gauntlet into his hand and the pyramid collapses, revealing a bottomless hole. They closed the hole and ran away. Back on the surface, Jesse leaves a warning sign, and they head to Champion City to take Lluna to Stella. The two met Stella and gave Lluna back to her when she told Petra that the "adventure" was a scam and did not return the sword. Both decided to steal the sword back. Once they reach Stella's treasure chamber, they discover that the sword is gone. Stella appears, and accepts defeat after accidentally revealing that she is a fan of Jesse, and gives the sword back.

When they returned to Beacontown, a bottomless hole was blowing open and spitting out loaded creepers, and they fought them before sealing it again. They head straight to Beacontown to meet Jack, a former treasure hunter. Jack talked to Jesse about the challenge, and introduced it to Nurm, the Jackmapper. The four got some armor from the Order's palace, and headed to the sea temple. When they travel, Jack tells them how the oceanic monument is run by "Admin", an infinite power. They wore water helmets, and swam to ocean monuments. Jesse finished the door frame, and freed Vos, Jack's old friend. Jack is shocked to see Vos alive (as alleged to have been killed on a previous visit). Fifth reaches the main part of the temple. They find two blocks of structure, and select one. After fighting a stone guard, including the Admin, a gigantic giant statue, five then fled back to Beacontown. The group closed the pits with blocks of structures, and celebrated the Day of Establishment. As the celebration begins, the Admin goes after Jesse, vowing to destroy them.

While Luke at his house completes his novel, he sees the Admin approaching Beacontown, he fits and goes to help Jesse.

Giant Consequences (Episode 2)

The Admin met Jesse at Beacontown, and two fights, damaging Beacontown in the process. Admin uses a giant clock to turn day into night so that monsters will invade the city. Admin also engulfs the block structure. Just as the Admin would swallow Jesse, Lukas distracts him with an arrow to his face, and saves Jesse. Jesse saw the symbol in Admin's head was the same symbol shown behind the Prismarine Golem in the sea shrine, and Jesse realized that destroying the symbol was the only way to destroy the Admin. Jesse took Luke's horse, climbed the Admin, and killed him, dropping the clock, which Jesse used to raise the sun.

In the aftermath, Jesse and the others begin rebuilding Beacontown, Jesse can give Luke or Radar the title "Clockmaster", which basically involves watching giant watches throughout the day. Jesse then meets with Jack and Vos, who unintentionally spill that they will go adventure with Nurm and Petra. Suddenly, Jesse and Petra see snowflakes falling in Beacontown and one of them ends melting in the challenge, revealing the Admin into a snowman. The Admin gave Jesse a challenge: Beacontown will remain dark and surrounded by enemy hordes until Jesse retakes the giant clock, which according to the Admin is "at the turbulent peak of my incredible, fantastic, and very lethal castle of despair". Jesse and the others against many monsters and zombies, and groups (consisting of Jesse, Petra, Luke, Radar, Jack, Nurm and Vos) headed for the ice palace. On the way to the ice palace, the group meets Lluna and Stella, who eventually come with them to "watch them".

In the ice palace, the snowman drops the group into the pit. The group eventually ends up in a labyrinth like a roller-coaster, and meets with the Admin once again, giving the group some challenges. Nevertheless, the Admin insists that only one person should win, and throw Radar/Jack to another challenge, with Vos disappearing at random. The group then mines their way with a diamond pickaxe and faces many "Endercreepers" of Snow. Jesse can then choose whether Petra or Jack should get the clock. Petra/Jack makes it up to hours and destroys it, turning the world back to normal time. Luke immediately leaves, but Jack insists on finding Vos, and the rest helps Jack to try and find her. Soon, it was revealed that Vos was actually an Admin all the time as the original Vos died years ago, and he was sure to partner with Stella. The Admin then hauls the gauntlet to anyone who destroys the clock and continues teleporting to Jesse and his friends, minus Lukas, to the jail.

Jailhouse Block (Episode 3)

Jesse arrives at the "Sunshine Institute", a dungeon where the Admin likes to keep the people he hates and the ones they love as prisoners, as well as those who are meant to act as carers. Jesse immediately tried to escape with the help of Jack/Petra (who were not elected champions) where they found that the prison was in the middle of a maze filled with dangerous monsters. They were immediately arrested and sent back to prison. Jesse meets the Warden, a former promoted "Guest" (prisoner), who begins torturing Radar to force Jesse into an "Associate", who Jesse can accept this new role or refuse. If he accepts his role, he will become an Associate, but if not, the Warden will ruin Radar's glasses and give him a black eye. They also found that Stella is also an Associate of the deeper floor. After hearing the escape experiment from Prisoner X, they discover that they need his help to get them out of there.

As a friend/guest, Jesse will find another guest's secret treasure, Mooshroom. After the Warden knows, he will ask Jesse to cut the mushroom out of the Mooshroom to turn him back into a regular cow that promises promotion to a lower depth if he obeys. If he cuts a cow, Jesse will be promoted to a partner at a lower depth (Jack/Petra, Nurm & Radar will cause the matter to be lowered to follow you), but once rejected, Jesse and his friends will demote to the lower depths as guests. After being on the lower level, Jesse asks for help from Stella to make a lever to open Prisoner X's cell. You can promise to help him escape as well or not. After successfully opening the gate to the Prisoner X cell, Admin appears, fires the Warden, and forces Jesse and Jack/Petra (whoever won the previous episode) to fight to the death, but instead they work together to try and attack the Admin. Disturbed by this he left the Sunshine Institute. Before leaving, however, the Admin comes up with a new plan to emulate Jesse and take over his life in Beacontown and bring Stella with him.

The group proceeds to the isolated cell of Prisoner X, which is rigged to explode if no one stands at least one stone pressure plate, meaning that Nurm or Lluna should be abandoned so they can escape. After their escape, they learn that Prisoner X, whose real name is Xara, is a former Admin. They were told that Xara and another Admin named Fred fought "Romeo" (real name Admin) to rule the world, but Fred was killed and Xara's power was taken away.

After fighting through a maze of monsters, Jesse can choose to help Xara when he throws it away, or leave it to take care of himself. Whichever player chooses, they will meet him at the base of Diamond Tower. Xara explains that there is a tunnel under the tower and they need to dig a foundation stone to escape, he also explains that the secret to getting Romeo out of his abilities is also there too. They entered the hall, with Giant Enderman approaching.

Romeo, in Jesse's form, went on to give the Order of the Stone's Amulet to an armored attacker to try and hunt down Jesse and his friends.

Under Bedrock (Episode 4)

Jesse and the company achieved the first world "Underneath" created by Romeo, Fred and Xara. Xara explains that this place was sealed by Romeo long after killing Fred and imprisoning Xara. Upon arriving in the destroyed Xara town of "The Oasis", Xara directs them to a destroyed portal that can take them to the surface. Jesse asks Xara to rebuild the portal while Xara tells them that they need an object from Romeo or Surface to help turn on the portal. He tells them to go to "Fred's Keep" to find a weapon that can stop Romeo, and to look out for anything that can be used to turn on the portal.

While traveling through minecart to Fred's Keep, the group was attacked by Giant Enderman, who made Jesse and Jack on the edge of a giant cliff. They are filled with scavengers who demand their weapons for a safe journey. If Jesse refuses, Jack seems to have fallen to his death.

Jesse and the company find themselves at Fred's Keep where they find a group of people who honor Fred as their former patron and creator of their secure village. Jesse asks to enter his house to search for weapons, but only the winner of the annual Fred Trivia Contest can enter. After winning the trivia contest or sneaking in, they discover that the weapon was found in the original house, cabins, Fred, Xara and Romeo used to live in it. Leader Fred's Keep, Binta, gave them the tools to steer them in the right direction in exchange to help get "Friends of Fred" out of Underneath. If Jack and Nurm were still at the party, they would stay behind to convince more people to join; if not, Nurm will keep waiting for Jack.

While traveling to the First Home Admin, they were attacked by a Steel Strike Attack, or a ninja, which was declared Ivor. Ivor told the admin's bad behavior group and started faking reports to buy the time to look for weapons. Before Ivor left, Jesse asked Amulet Order of Stone to be used as part of the portal.

All three find that the First House Admin is in Romeoburg and they need to resolve their challenge to continue. Inside the cabin they find Fred's Journal, containing the keyword (# potato451) and a set of instructions on how to beat the Admin. Realizing how similar they were and the former best friends of the Admin, Petra became emotional and worried that their own friendship would end like an admin. He also confesses to Jesse that his place is not in Beacontown, but he will not go if it means he will lose Jesse. Jesse can promise Petra to go with him or wait for as long as he needs.

Upon returning to Oasis, Jesse and the company activate fireworks to signal to the Fred people that they are ready to go. He also gave Xara a diary, and he swore revenge on Romeo. The fireworks drew Enderman Giant as well as some monsters of monster. Depending on the previous action, Xara will still help against the masses or leave the group. People from Fred's Keep will come to help; Jack will also reappear here if he falls in the first half. Radar finds that Giant Enderman is mad at him after he attacks him earlier and asks Jesse if he can use himself as a bait to save Fred's people. Jesse was then given the option to leave Radar or leave Fred's men.

Upon entering the portal, they find themselves on the outskirts of the Order of the Stone Order, and cringe at the new Beacontown.

After the credit we see Luke just back from the Ice Palace of Jesse's speech (Romeo) asking where everyone is. Admin's eyes glow red as the scene cuts to black.

Above and Beyond (Episode 5)

Jesse, Petra, Jack, Radar/Binta and Nurm/Lluna use a mine to enter Beacontown in secret. In town they find Romeo (In Jesse Shape), Stella, Axel, and Olivia prepare JesseCon, a narcissistic Festival for himself. If Xara leaves you he will attack Romeo and be killed by him. If Xara stays behind Romeo will blow up Champion City in front of Stella as an example for them.

They conclude that the Giant Tower in the center of the city is the "Main Terminal", place or object in the diary instructions, but they will need a plan to get there. Jesse reveals himself to Axel and Olivia who follow Jesse to Jack's shop where they find his contents looted. They found Elytra Wings in a looted shop, then Ivor appeared in the store after rescuing Nurm/Lluna and they started planning how they would get to the "Terminal".

After successfully enacting their plan to fly to the tower, they discover that Luke has freed the prisoner Romeo and has united to create "New Ocelots", after proving to them that he/she Jesse is actually they headed to the roof only to find that Romeo is in his office, you can choose to attack him or talk to him. Regardless of the choice Romeo decided to give up on the world. He decided he deserved the same fate as the old world. As he wraps around the world with bedrock, they head to the "Terminal Space" portal on the roof.

In the Terminal Room, they find the door closed. The door is sealed with a puzzle whose answer lies within the keyword # potato451. After completing the puzzle, they were given a hologram of Fred who gave them the Golden Gauntlet who could take the power of Romeo. Romeo arrives soon after that and Jesse hit him with Gauntlet, Romeo soon discovers that some of his abilities disappear.

Jesse and Romeo fight each other with Romeo change location and shape with every defeat. After removing Romeo's power completely, "Terminal Space" begins to collapse, you can choose to leave Romeo or bring it with you. While the "Terminal Room" collapsed around them, The Giant Prismarine Colossus suffered a nuisance and began to attack anything indiscriminately. If Xara and Radar are left behind, the last one will arrive, still being chased by Giant Enderman, then kill Colossus which allows you to escape. Otherwise Romeo will sacrifice himself so you can leave, after the destruction of the "Space" stone foundation in the sky disappears. If Romeo and Xara survive, he will do his best to try and redeem what he did, starting with Xara and the people who are still alive at the Bottom.

While Beacontown is being rebuilt, Ivor says that he will try to reconnect with the old Stone Order, Luke, Radar, Jack, and Nurm decide to stay in Beacontown to help them rebuild. Depending on your relationship with Stella and Lluna, Stella can ask you to take care of Lluna in Beacontown while Champion City is being rebuilt, Lluna can choose to stay with Jesse against Stella's wishes, or both will leave. Axel and Olivia decide to return to their community, but Petra decides to leave. You can choose to go with Petra or stay at Beacontown.

If you decide to go with Petra, you can set the Radar as your temporary replacement or allow the citizen to decide on a new leader If Lluna lives with Jesse, he will also accompany Jesse & Petra in their new adventure.

If you live in Beacontown, Radar will let you know that he checked the mailbox and found some letters. The first letter is about Aiden who wants to redeem himself. The second letter sent by WP (White Pumpkin) says "Watch out".

Development and release

The idea for Minecraft: Story Mode appears around the end of 2012 when Telltale Games engages in work for Stories from Borderlands , episodic series based on Borderlands series. The idea of developing stories around other video game franchises led the team to brainstorm ideas for Minecraft-related games, given that the game was essentially "blank canvas" for storytelling, according to Job Stauffer. , and will create an exciting challenge. Both groups acknowledged the amount of fan-generated narrative content that existed in YouTube videos and other media forms that showed the potential for in-game storytelling. Many of Telltale's staff have also become fans of Minecraft, with the personal servers they play, with some incidents happening there becoming ideas for gaming stories. Telltale started negotiations with Mojang in early 2013, and began work on the title shortly thereafter. Stauffer notes that Microsoft's acquisition of the Mojang is not a factor in game development, as their interaction with Mojang begins long before Microsoft's negotiations.

Telltale chose to create Jesse's new main character for Minecraft: Story Mode instead of using the default "Steve" character from Minecraft , feeling that they did not want to try rewriting how the player had seen the characters this in the game. The other main characters in the game are loosely designed around the archetypes of common player characters for Minecraft , so those involved in building, fighting, or muttering other players. This game will not try to provide background for some concepts in Minecraft , such as creepers, to avoid various interpretations that fans have done for these elements, even though they are elements of the game story.

Stauffer stated that the story of this game will be aimed at families, similar to the movies of The Goonies or Ghostbusters; the intended content will be equivalent to rating PG-13 or PEGI-12. A number of voice actors are alumni from films such as the 1980s like Corey Feldman who starred in The Goonies, and this game includes various references for this type of film. Stauffer reflects that while newer Telltale games like The Walking Dead are more mature stories, their original adventure games like Sam & amp; Max and Bad Strong Cool Games for Interesting People are written as family-friendly, and that they consider their approach to Minecraft: Story Mode as "part of us DNA ". The story aims to be accessible to both existing players Minecraft - both beginner and advanced players - and for new audiences beyond the game.

Minecraft: Story Mode was officially announced in December 2014 as a collaborative project between Mojang and Telltale; the announcement was presented as an interactive adventure game called "Info Quest II". The first trailer was released during the 2015 Minecon convention in early July. The game is planned for a five-episode series for releases on Android, iOS, Microsoft Windows, OS X, PlayStation and Xbox consoles by the end of 2015; Telltale also released the game for Wii U, just a month after the original Minecraft first came to the Nintendo platform. It was also the first time the title Telltale was released on the Nintendo platform since Back to the Future: The Game . In addition, Minecraft: Story Mode - The Complete Adventure , which combines major episodes and downloadable content, was announced for the Nintendo Switch.

The series was released for most systems on October 13, 2015, with PlayStation Vita and Wii U versions to follow later. This season's game leap is available for purchase on October 27, 2015, which allows players to access four more episodes after they are released. The retail version of the game was released on October 27, 2015.

Netflix and Telltale signed a partnership in June 2018 for Netflix to offer Telltale games for services that began later that year, with Minecraft: Story Mode as the first planned title for the service.
