Hotel ibis budget , formerly Etap Hotel and Hotel Formule 1 , is an international hotel international budget service chain owned by AccorHotels Group. There are several branches in major cities and close to transport centers such as the Eurotunnel terminal in Coquelles. This chain competes with chains like Holiday Inn Express and Travelodge in Europe and England.

The rooms are simply furnished but smartly furnished. Rooms typically include amenities such as small tables, televisions (sometimes with cable/international channels, depending on location), double or double beds with bunk beds, shower, basin and toilet. In England, Etap's previous hotels did not include tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms, although there is usually a coin-operated hot drinks machine in the foyer. In some locations, rooms and entrances have coded keys. Some rooms may have Wi-Fi. Towels and soaps are provided as standard, with other toiletries for purchase at the reception. Goods such as ironing boards and irons are usually available for rent.

All ibis budget hotels have a breakfast area, reception (manned 24 hours a day in UK & amp; Swiss elsewhere vary) and, in some locations, automatic reception for check-in outside working hours.

There are more than 350 hotels in Europe, mostly located in France. There is also a budget ibis property in the African and Middle Eastern markets, as well as locations in the Asia-Pacific, Latin America and Caribbean markets.
