Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville is the name of a United States-based hospitality company that manages and franchises casual American restaurant restaurants, chain stores selling Jimmy Buffett themed goods and casinos with lodging facilities.
Owned by Buffett Margaritaville Holdings LLC (a subsidiary of Cheeseburger Holding Company, LLC ) and named after the hit song "Margaritaville". Some locations are owned by franchises, such as Caribbean, Australian and Mexican locations. There are locations in the United States, Canada and Mexico, six island locations throughout the Caribbean as well as newly opened sites in Sydney, Australia since September 2012. In 2014, a Brazilian company buys 12 Margaritaville Restaurants and the right to expand the company. in America

As of June 20, 2011, United States retail store locations are located in Key West, FL, New Orleans, LA, Charleston, SC, Orlando, FL, Las Vegas, Myrtle Beach, Glendale, Panama City Beach, FL, Mohegan Sun, Honolulu, HI , Pensacola Beach, Nashville, TN and Chicago, IL. The latest concept, "Landshark Surfshack Retail Shop" opened May 17, 2011 at the Myrtle Beach SkyWheel attraction. Mexico's retail locations are in Cancun and Cozumel. Canadian retail locations exist in Niagara Falls, Ontario. Caribbean retail locations in the West Indies of England are in Montego Bay (including two "Air Margaritaville" locations) at Sangster International Airport), Negril and Ocho Rios on the island of Jamaica; Grand Turk in Turks and Caicos Islands; and George Town, Grand Cayman in the Cayman Islands.
Hotel
On June 28, 2010, Margaritaville Beach Hotel (photo on right) opened on Pensacola Beach. The site of the former Holiday Inn, destroyed by Hurricane Ivan on September 16, 2004, the Margaritaville Hotel is situated over 800 feet from the front property. An additional 800 feet facing the bay. This beachfront hotel features 'barefoot elegance' with 162 guest rooms, including 24 Executive King Corner rooms with a balcony round.
Future staged plans include a stand alone Margaritaville Cafe and bayside water park.
Plans for the second and third Margaritaville Beach Beach were announced in 2010. The second, still in the planning stages, will be located in Myrtle Beach, SC, with a third resort, $ 131-million, 350 rooms, in hopes of a breakthrough. at the end of 2011 and opened in late 2013, in Hollywood, FL.
Casino
The Las Vegas Margaritaville at Flamingo has expanded to include a 15.5-square-meter casino of its own Margaritaville brand. The casino is scheduled to open October 1, 2011.
On January 12, 2011, it was announced that MVB Holdings Buffett company works with Tom Coast Beach veteran Tom Brosig and other investors to build a three-storey casual, 68,000 square feet, $ 48 million. History
In 1985, Buffett opened his first successful "Margaritaville" retail store in Key West, Florida, following a failed Margaritaville in Gulf Shores, Alabama. In 2002, he expanded his business by partnering with Outback Steakhouse to develop the first Cheeseburger at Paradise Restaurant in Southport (Indianapolis, IN).
In late 2006, Jimmy Buffett announced on the website that Margaritaville Cafes would no longer buy or serve Canadian seafood products.
On May 15, 2007, Harrah's Entertainment, now Caesars Entertainment Corp. announced plans to build a $ 700 million Casino Casino Margaritaville in Biloxi, Mississippi at the site of the former Casino Biloxi and Casino Magic Biloxi. Due to the US recession, casino construction stopped on June 10, 2008.
